We all live. We all suffer. We all experience and love. We all die. Life has and remains one of the only things man cannot answer, cannot circumvent. There are those among us who gladly take the trials, the tribulations for the pure joy you can find in life, and sadly, there are those who would rather dictate their own fate, taking into their hands the one natural thing we should never know, should never expect. What apart from its ending must we endure to live our lives? What is the price we must pay?
We must all plunge into the unknown. Whether literally traversing untrodden lands or just trying ot start something with someone, we must all face that feeling that dwells within the pit of your stomache, that of fear, insecurity, and self doubt. We must do this if we ever want to live a fraction of what could be our lives. Remember, your fear is but momentary, the joy that courage can bring, can last lifetimes.
We must all lose that which we love. As we will end, so will all that is around us. Nothing is forever and we must face that sadness, that loss, that feeling of our life being a painting askew on a wall which no one will straighten. Everything ends so that something can begin. Without endings we would never move on, we would never know the joy of new discovery. Remember, the leaves must fall every year for a reason.
Finally we must all live with ourselves. We may love who we are, we may hate who we are, we may have given up and live an apathetic life, but no matter who you are, no matter what you’ve done, you must live with that. You must live with every flaw you have, physical, mental, or emotional. You must live with every past up oppertunity, every mistake, every unspoken thought. But you must also live with your accomplishments, you must live with your hopes and dreams and not let them die, but truest of all you must not live alone. We are surrounded by others for a reason. Even though life has its costs, that does not mean you will recieve nothing in return for your losses. Every hurt, every mistake, every failed attempt is not just an experience, but a story. A story to draw from and a story to tell. So go, pay life’s fee and use what you recieve, whatever it may be, as best you can, that’s all you’ll get. And remember, there isn’t a person yet that I’ve met, who isn’t extraordinary.
